Child Custody and Visitation

If a final custody order is in place but your circumstances have changed significantly, I will help you file a motion to modify the existing order and will act as your advocate in any proceedings to bring about a change. I will also address issues on your behalf when the other party fails to comply with the terms of the court order regarding visitation.

In Georgia, child support is calculated using a state formula that takes into consideration the income of both parties, the need for day care or medical insurance, and the ability of the parties to pay for those needs. I will review any proposed child support order to ensure that it is in compliance with state guidelines and that all relevant income is properly considered. I will also help you seek modification of an existing support order if your circumstances have changed since the finalization of the original order for support. I represent custodial and non-custodial parents in child support disputes, including post-judgment actions for enforcement of support orders when there are allegations of failure to pay support as ordered.
Juvenile Court
I have experience handling matters in juvenile court, including situations where emergency custody may be required or where minors are deprived or have been alleged to be deprived.
